About the role
Are you a creative coder with a passion for marketing? We're looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer highly experienced in Wordpress to join our dynamic marketing team and help bring our digital campaigns to life. This is your chance to blend development skills with digital marketing, working closely with marketers, designers, and content creators to build engaging web experiences that drive results.
Today marketing owns 5 websites across Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and International that are mainly built on WordPress. The end goal is to unify the website experience across markets. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with marketing, preferable in-house, managing multiple websites and stakeholders.
At the moment, we are offering a contract with duration 6-9 months since the need for a full-time job might change over time. The position reports into the VP of Marketing and is fully remote. 🚀
Your key responsibilities include:
Developing and optimizing 5 product websites across markets
Server and plugin management, currently our websites are fully self-hosted on a cloud platform.
Tracking and integrations making sure traffic and conversions are being tracked and sent into our CRM to measure performance and growth.
Website analytics proactively tracking and finding optimizations opportunities
Technically optimizing for optimizing for AI and search engine result placements.
What will help you to be successful in this role?
Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:
Highly experienced with Wordpress development using ACF, Gutenberg block editor and preferably custom block development
Good practical knowledge and experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS(with SASS), PHP and Node.js
Familiarity with server management, shell scripting, database management, APIs and server-side architecture
Experience with tracking, Technical SEO, consent management, CRM / Hubspot Integrations, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
Very open and curious about how to adopt AI strategies e.g. look at existing setup and decide how AI can help us be more effective while still having control of sensitive and business critical flows.
Effective communication, can explain technical concepts to non-tech stakeholders and collaborates well with designers.
Agile & fast learning, can adapt to new frameworks, tools, or methodologies and enjoys work in fast-paced and agile environments.
Knowledge, experience, and capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in data science or engineering preferred
About 7 years of experience of similar jobs in-house or agency (in-house preferred), managing multiple websites and requirements in parallel
B2B and SaaS experience is preferred, the understanding of the websites direct contribution for sales is important.
Fluent in written and spoken English is minimum
Self-going being able to work both independently and in a team environment
Team leadership experience is not needed but the candidate should have experience working in a team environment.
