Growth Software Engineer
We're looking for an Engineer who sits at the intersection of engineering, marketing and data to build tracking solutions that give us clear visibility into our key conversion metrics.
👋 Who are we?
Nordhealth (OB:NORDH) is the leading provider of cloud-based Practice Information Management Software (PIMS) to veterinary and therapy professionals.
Over the last three years, we have grown our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and team size by almost 10x. Today, more than 30,000 therapy and veterinary professionals use our software every day to help treat over 20 million patients annually across 35+ countries.
It’s been an exciting growth journey so far, and we are just getting started. Our mission is to enable healthcare professionals to deliver better patient care through software, with a goal to help serve over 200 million patients by 2030.
In support of this growth mission, in May 2021, Nordhealth raised €120M through a public listing on Euronext Growth Oslo stock exchange.
Nordhealth is a remote-first company, headquartered in Helsinki. Our 460+ employees work either remotely or from offices and collaboration hubs across Europe.
About the role
We are here to create great healthcare products. That’s at our very core, but it’s the people who make companies great, not the other way around. We spend more time with our co-workers than anyone else in our lives. Being part of an exceptional team is not only important for your personal mindfulness but key for your professional progression.
We’re looking for a Growth Software Engineer to join our team.
This role is for a builder who lives at the intersection of engineering, product, data, and growth. You will be a critical technical partner in helping us scale Product-Led Growth (PLG), improve product activation, and create seamless user journeys across our product ecosystem.
Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will work closely with Product, Data, Engineering, and GTM teams to build the infrastructure and experiences that drive adoption and expansion. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy moving fast, leveraging AI and automation, shipping experiments continuously, and solving growth problems through engineering.
Your key responsibilities include:
PLG & Product Activation Engineering
Partner with Product and Marketing to design and implement growth experiences across our products. You’ll build activation flows, in-product CTAs, onboarding mechanics, contextual upsell experiences, and feature discovery systems that help users reach value faster.
Experimentation & Growth Infrastructure
Build and maintain the technical foundation for experimentation. You will help enable rapid testing across product and marketing surfaces, ensuring teams can launch experiments quickly, measure outcomes reliably, and iterate continuously.
Tracking, Data & Integrations
Own and improve the “growth plumbing” across our stack. You’ll ensure accurate event tracking, clean data flows, and reliable integrations between product surfaces, analytics platforms, CRM systems (HubSpot), and internal tooling.
Product & Lifecycle Instrumentation
Work closely with Product, Lifecycle Marketing, and Data teams to ensure we can trigger contextual, behavior-driven user journeys powered by accurate product usage data.
Technical Performance Accountability
While core web platform maintenance is handled externally, you will own visibility into performance, conversion, tracking quality, and operational reliability across growth surfaces. You’ll help ensure our digital experiences remain fast, measurable, and conversion-oriented.
Reliability & Governance
Move fast without breaking things. You’ll maintain clean documentation, deployment discipline, and strong engineering practices while ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal data governance standards.
What will help you to be successful in this role?
Ideally, you have already gained some experience from working in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:
Strong Engineering Fundamentals: You're comfortable working with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js), Laravel(PHP), Python, event tracking systems, and data integrations — and you know how to balance speed with scalability.
Growth & Product Mindset: you understand growth funnels, activation, onboarding, expansion, and retention. You think beyond implementation and focus on business impact.
High Ownership & Autonomy: you thrive in remote-first environments, take initiative, and operate with a strong sense of accountability.
Experimentation Mentality: you enjoy shipping fast, testing ideas, learning from data, and iterating continuously.
AI & Automation Fluency: you embrace modern workflows and use AI and automation tools to improve velocity and effectiveness without compromising quality.
Data & Analytics Fluency: you understand tracking architecture, GTM, product analytics, attribution, and how to connect user behavior across systems and touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: you work well across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Data, and GTM teams, helping bridge technical and commercial goals.
What’s in it for you?
