About the role

We are seeking an AI Engineer Intern with a strong interest in Large Language Models (LLMs). You will work on writing prompts and evaluating the performance of LLMs in different clinical contexts, such as medical text generation, summarization, patient queries, and decision support. This is a hands-on role where you will help shape how AI can be trusted and tested to assist healthcare professionals and improve patient care.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement prompt engineering techniques to optimize LLMs for healthcare-related tasks

• Experiment with different prompts, tuning strategies, and model parameters to improve model reliability and accuracy in healthcare use cases

• Develop and automate evaluation pipelines for assessing the performance of LLMs in healthcare scenarios.

• Analyze LLM outputs for potential issues such as bias, hallucinations, and medical inaccuracies, and propose solutions

• Document and present findings to both internal teams

What will help you to be successful in this role?

Ideally, you have already gained some experience from a previous internship in a fast growing, global SaaS company. In addition, our humble wishlist includes:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Biomedical Informatics, Data Science, or a related field

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Strong communication skills
